Amazing

Pansy looks at him. She’s leaning against the patio railing with a knowing smile on her lips. The cottage is empty now. Luna left last week. It is just them.

Neville shakes his head. Pansy laughs. Her eyes are wide and full of mischief.

Harry had said that they could stay as long as they liked.

Pansy reaches out; her hand sliding down his wrist to entwine their fingers and pull him closer. “Well?” she murmurs.

Neville looks down at her, and tucks some stray hair behind her ears. It is soft now, healthier, a contrast from what it had been before. Neville stares, amazement tingling through his body. This is his; she is his.

Pansy huffs impatiently. “Are you going to kiss me or not?”

Neville laughs gently, and decides that he just might.
