This is so detailed, so plotty, so rewarding, and so long. However, it is most definitely worth the effort put into reading it. This is a Neville fic above all else, and it's a Neville coming into his own type fic. There are patches of angst, but mostly it's just warm, detailed and beautifully written. Also, a yay for Snape, and a yay for Harry.
