I.
You know what is great? Getting feedback on ancient fic. Well, not ancient, but just older. It gives a warm fuzzy sensation. It's happened to me, twice lately, and it's a good feeling.

II.
You know what else is also great? (Yeah, it's rec time again).

Forget by cjmarlowe (Neville/Snape, PG-13). This Neville makes me sad, yet smile, because it could work out like this, not that I think JKR would ever contemplate something like this, but that's clearly not the point. The point is that I thought this was good. (Also, I think the Snape-voice is awesome).

III.
I bought the Snow Patrol album today, and yeah, it's good. I like it. Also, now very sleepy. Very, very sleepy.

IV.
Monthly music meme:

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to (I don't believe in tagging ::shrugs::)

1.Michael- Franz Ferdinand: Because this is infectious, and it's about a boy dancing with another boy (and more).
2.All Apologies- Nirvana: It wouldn't be me without Nirvana, or Green Day, or Grinspoon. Sorry. Plus, I love this song, for liek, evah, totally. ::flicks hair::
3.Class- Chicago (Film) Soundtrack: One of my friends sang this as part of a duet for her cabaret performance last year. She rocked it, and well, her cabaret this year, was last week. She didn't sing this again, but it reminded me of it, and I've been listening to it since.
4.Misery- Green Day: See notes for All Apologies. Also, to win me over, a song having an awesome introduction normally works.
5.Out of the Races and on to the Tracks- The Rapture: Musically, this is kind of an ear-sore, but, dude, the introduction. It wins. At things. Shiny, sparkly things.
6. Boundary- Grinspoon: See notes for All Apologies. Um, the anger? The immaturity?
7. Set the Fire to the Third Bar- Snow Patrol feat. Matha Wainwright: Marth Wainwright in this is truly lovely, and it has won me over.
