after a week and a half in my house, i love it.
okay, it didn't take me a week and a half to decide that.
it took about ten seconds.
we still don't really have much furniture, but that doesn't matter.
because
i have the most comfortable bed ever. come visit me, and we can spoon!
i love being able to walk to school and having it take the same amount of time to get to class as it did when i lived on campus. i love having my own bedroom and bathroom. i can't waitttt til we get our stove tomorrow so i can start cooking for real.
i feel like such a grownup, having responsibilities and bills and all. it's kind of annoying, watching all my money disappear, but it's also worth it.
this labor day weekend was fantastic. among other things, we went to the football game (where we stomped ULL), got kicked out of the swimming pool at the guys' apartment complex (who knew apartment pools have curfews??), almost drowned in the comal river (because we're river floating novices, apparently), and had an amazing dinner party at tessa's (that girl can COOK!).
i'm excited and nervous to see what this year has to bring..
i think about who i was a year ago and who i am today, and good heavens, i've changed. i'm not sure it's for the better, but i've certainly changed..what else to do but move along. we'll see where i end up.
