cuts_inside 1. Zelda II was technically the first RPG I ever played, but I didn't get very far. I was young at the time, and had no idea how to get around in the game. I gave up on it after about an hour :P.
2. Phantasy Star IV and Suikoden I are probably the most replayable games for me.
3. I dressed up as Danger Mouse for Halloween when I was about seven.
4. When I first picked up an issue of Animercia Extra and read bits of X therein, I thought that Kamui was a girl... until I realized a few minutes later that he had no chest. And that a guy named Fuuma was really, really, really protective and touchy-feely with him. I remember blushing a lot while at Lone Star Comics that day and wondering if I was reading something that someone underaged shouldn't be looking at.
5. Cookie Dough ice cream is probably my favorite Haagen Daaz flavor.
6. Battle Angel Alita was the first manga I ever read. My friend Nida was reading it at the time for a book report. Yes, that's right, my teacher let her do a book report on it, because it was a "graphic novel." This was back in the 6th grade, mind you.
7. Two of my most favorite books include Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky and Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh.
8. Hamlet is still my favorite Shakespeare play thus far.
9. I hated reading MacBeth in high school, simply because I really was starting to have a lot of bad luck when we were reading it in English.
10. My favorite actress is Megumi Okina of Juon fame.
11. I highly dislike onions. It's the only vegetable that I will probably never like.
12. I like peanut butter.
13. Ginger Ale is my soft drink of choice.
14. I want a Sakura Tree that eats people :D.
15. I dressed up as a ghetto Seishirou for Halloween back in high school and went around with my friends, saying, "We're the four horsemen of the apocalypse. But our fourth member fell off her horse, so we're continuing on in her stead."
16. Subaru was the first cosplay I ever did, back at the first convention I ever attended (A-kon 11).
17. Growing up, I was geekily into the Power Rangers and disliked the fact that they got rid of the first Yellow Ranger fairly quickly.
18. When I was a kid, I thought that it would be the absolute bomb if I owned a Neo-Geo. Then I could actually play all of the cool fighting games instead of the one port of Samurai Showdown I could get for the Sega Genesis at the time. The Sega CD was also something I coveted, if only because the Lunar games were on there (their remakes made me really disappointed when I finally got to play their remakes on the Playstation. Maybe I expected too much after all those years of anticipation?).
19. I had almost every childhood disease you could have when I was a baby. Later, it made for a really strong immune system for me.
20. I don't like jelly.
