Finished Digital Devil Saga 1... Hungry for DDS 2 (worst pun ever)

So. Finished DDS 1. Um...

The last boss was interesting enough, design-wise; reminded me of something Tim Burton would have created. I wonder if Kaneko Kazuma was inspired by A Nightmare Before Christmas. Again, the graphics are uber-pretty in this game, and during all of the cutscenes, I just can't help but think, "You CG Designers rock. A lot." And the music was pretty darn good, as it generally was for most of the game. Sera's voice actress still gets on my nerves here and there, but at least she sings well enough (or whoever does her singing voice).

Anyway... the last boss wasn't very difficult at all. The third form had the a similar thing going on to the final boss of Suikoden III, but it was much simpler. I swear, it took me forever to defeat the boss in Suikoden III; even now, as I try to replay it to see the ending again... I haven't been able to. At all. So I've only been able to beat the game that one time, in two years > o >;;. For me, I have yet to come across an RPG final boss so hard... damn you, Luc, and that stupid bird ::shakes fist::.

Anywho, back to DDS 1. After I finally figured out that all of my characters needed all of strongest elemental magic stuffers equipped, it wasn't that bad at all. Then the ending came on, and things are falling apart... and just as I'm thinking that MAYBE some more stuff will be elaborated on before DDS 2... nah. Not very much. But from what I can gather, it looks like the Junkyard was just a digital realm, which really shouldn't have surprised me, but it did.

I shouldn't be complaining. In fact, I think the sequel was just released yesterday. But still. I wanted to know just a little bit more tonight, because I'm impatient > o >;;.

I am glad of one thing, though. Serph is still alive~! :D Yes, he's another one of those silent heroes that you make the dialogue choices for, but I just love his character design and how I was able to make him into a kick-ass machine by the end of the game.

... I'm still disappointed that, during the time on the Cruise Ship, and they had to make a "decoy" of Sera... that they didn't have Serph dress up as Sera instead of Argilla >D;;. Come on! It would have been so perfect~! No body would have been able to tell the difference! ::dies:: Plus, Serph could have followed Cloud into the crossdressing hall of fame! Atlus~~~~~~~, you missed a wonderful opportunity~~~~~~!
