Nobody else came. At all. Nobody else even noticed until it was too late.
[Rion is hunched over the communicator, his face nearly blank, emotionless.]
I don't know why I'm in the Queensguard. Anyone else could have stopped them, like Riqis or Naoto, but I couldn't. I couldn't even save Dawn. I

[After a small knock, she opens the door. But she does not enter immediately, lingering instead in the entrance, white hands clasped at her waist.]
May I come in, Rion?

For once, none of his Pokemon are out - not even Ketara. He'd wanted some time to himself, but there's a difference between company with Pokemon and company with people - especially when it's Zelda.]

I am sorry. I knew that there was evil afoot in the city, and I should have been more vigilant.
[And if I had been, if I had served as I was meant, then mayhaps this wouldn't have happened, and everything would be alright.
She bit that back and reined it in. She had no desire to turn her visit into something about her own sadness.]
You have lost a memory, and that is ill, but... not being able to fight such foes does not make you any less than anyone else here. It may be that Riqis or Naoto could not have stopped them. There are enemies here that require, more than skill in arms or combat, the right knowledge to defeat, and...
[She was rambling needlessly, she scolded herself, and sighed softly, raising her head to look at him.]
You tried all the same, Rion, and that was courageous. There was valour in that. Do not let your heart be troubled by what you could not do.

It's not your fault. I just don't understand why nobody else saw it. The whole thing was on video - the whole thing - and nobody even came to check what had happened, or even.
Did anything. Hardly anyone noticed even when Ketara ... took us back, I guess. It didn't matter.
I know I tried, but...

It's not fair that I'm the only one who did. Dawn's not Wesker, or Hehsebamon, or someone like that.

No. It is not.
In such a time... we all should have been more careful. Especially in regards to the people considered less able to take care of themselves. But we were not. We failed you. And for that, I can only apologise.
But as these things happen, Rion, in this city... You cannot hold it against the people that they did not. Things like this... have happened before. Especially in times like this, where all are trying to keep things safe themselves.
Sometimes... it is all timing.

Every other time I've been here, when somebody was in danger - somebody important - people were falling all over themselves to help, or at least check, to make sure things were okay.
When I came to help you? I was there. Midna came. Other people were checking on you with the voice things. When the Fairfolk had those people's souls, Ashoka lead a group of people to go fight them. People panicked over Alex.
Nobody helped Dawn except me. Hardly anyone noticed what had even happened. People who could have done something.
[No, Zelda, your guardian here is very, very upset and unhappy with World's End and its population. Probably angrier than he's ever been. In his mind, he died because they decided that Dawn wasn't important enough, that his best friend somehow wasn't worth saving ( ... )
