The food has never actually run out here. Sometimes pickings are slimmer, but if someone can hunt food can be prepared. Sometimes it's just a matter of not getting comfort food.

Positive. We may need to smoke and salt meat more closer to winter to preserve it, unless there's another World Hop, but I seriously doubt we'll ever starve.
