[She comes and peeks into the room timidly, a small bandage on her forehead from where she hit her head when she fainted. She's whispering though.]

[He doesn't say anything, and he doesn't look that good - physically, he looks okay, but he well looks like someone who has recently died and gone through a lot of pain.

However, his expression visibly brightens upon seeing her, and he motions for her to come in.]

You don't have to be sorry for being killed! [She cries out, and then slaps a hand over her mouth, eyes closing tight and shaking her head.]

I just. I got. Uhm. [She walks over to stand near him, looking at his chest intently. Did he get a new heart? She wants to know, wants to ask, but can't.]

... you got what? [His eyes look up towards her, confused - what's she talking about? A thought briefly flicks through his mind, but no, that couldn't be it. Could it?

Part of him wants to reach out to touch her; one hand moves tentatively towards her, then back away, as if he can't decide what he's supposed to be doing here.]

It was a box with my name on it and it was on the steps and I opened it and it was yours and I didn't know why they sould send that to me and then I fainted and.

[Finally pauses for breath here, her shoulders shaking a little even as she comes closer, and then with some hesitation, places her hand on his chest, right where his heart should be. Right where it still is, and that just doesn't make sense to her.]

I don't understand how you can still have one now even when its still in a box.

[She chokes out the words, still trying to figure out why he would get two hearts. Her hand clutches at his shirt, not wanting to let go.

If she let go, would he go and die again, and then there would be three hearts?]

[See, this is a problem, because he can answer that, but he can't say that. And answering it involves letting go of her, which he really doesn't want to do. Given the choice between the two...

... he'll hold onto her more. Really, if he's able to, he'll even try to pull her closer into a... a hug isn't the right word. Embrace isn't quite it either. Maybe they'd be clinging to each other, if she moves with him. That's probably more correct than anything else.]

[She makes another choked sound and buries her head in his shoulder, holding onto him tight. She doesn't want to let him go, because what if she lets go now and all he is is a fake like her, and he crumbles and disappears?]

[It's not like he was trying to, and really, he's not going to let go. To an outside observer, it might be unclear which one of them is holding onto the other, because he doesn't want to let go either. Logically, he knew that even if he died, he was coming back, but--

--it's difficult to tell yourself that when something's coming right for your eye. He can't say anything to reassure her, can't do anything other than cling to her.]
