2. Where was your first kiss? On the steps of my front porch in Roanoke. It was horrible. super snake tongue action, and I was mortified.

5. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people? Once, when I was in the church choir growing up. It was a teeny tiny piece of a solo.

9. What is your biggest mistake? GAWD. I guess I try not to dwell. I might say not spending more time with my grandparents before they died. Hooking up with my friend's boyfriend one night while wasted, it still torments me.

I've gotten Stephanie Zimbalist (of Remington Steele fame) twice and two guys here at work think I look like Kyra Sedgewick, but I don't see it. OH and Lisa Loeb, when I wear glasses.
13. Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows? no, but I could totally go for some Electric Company or 321Contact if that shit still ran.

15. Are you comfortable with your height? pretty much. I would love an extra couple of inches but I am getting used to the whole petite thing. I used to wear stacked heels but now I fear the almighty bunion and just say fuck it. I'm short. I go with that.
16. What is the most romantic thing someone of the preferred sex has done for you? gawd. nothing really sticks out because I think all were really just ploys to get in my pants. However I guess the obvious answer is that it was pretty romantic of D. to follow me to this country and go against some pretty fundamental beliefs in doing so, regarding life and what it's like here in the good ol' USA.

18. Do you speak any other languages? yes, Spanish fluently, can cobble together some French, also studied German. And Latin, but that one doesn't really count since no one speaks Latin and if they do they're NERDS.
19. Have you ever been to a tanning salon? Once, in high school, because my friends convinced me I needed to get a 'base tan' before we went camping at the lake. Thing is, I don't get tan! Ever! My life got a whole lot easier when I figured that out.
20. What magazines do you read? New Yorker, Paste, and if I'm feeling rich and self-indulgent I will buy any trash with a pretty cover from the grocery store checkout and read it in 20 min and swear I'll never, ever buy another one again.

23. Do you watch mtv? nope. no cable! I used to love me some Real World, back in the day. Especially when they got drunk and naked. Funny how no one mentions the MUSIC on mtv, no?
