I've just seen The Machinist and ho-leee shit! Two thumbs up. Hands down.
Christian Bale is downright SCARY in his emaciation, but I suppose that is half of the chilling impact of the film. Excellent, excellent! Rent it.
My question is, who the hell knew it was pronounced ma'SHEEN ist? Maybe it's just me and another case of my espanol getting in the way of good and proper anglais? I even looked it up and it's not one of those dual-pronounciation words, like mercury. (How do YOU say it??)
Learn something new every day I guess. Incidentally, I also learned today that D. likes Jennifer Jason Leigh. Who knew? By the bye, C. Bale was soooooooooo not my boyfriend in this flick.
