ok so first of all, Jensen wins the internet today for the BEST THING EVER. seriously, it was so fun, and i think one of my favorites parts was that you could TOTES hear Jared off camera laughing at him. and then the smile Jensen had once they finished? GORGEOUS!
so um, the episode. uh, HI! hi dean, hihi vulnerable, paranoid, ADORABLE DEAN! Don't even get me started on them calling dean adorable, seriously!
i think it was in missyjack's journal that i read this, but yeah, this was TOTES dean's bad day at black rock. when he screamed over the cat, i nearly did a SPIT TAKE. Jensen was so good in this. he did a great job at hitting all the comedic spots, as well as all the angsty ones. time and time again i am impressed when how this show can transition smoothly from hurty to hilarious to somber to ROTFLMAO and then back to angsty. its a credit it to fairly competent writing, and some AWESOMESAUCE acting on Jensen and Jared's parts.
Jared did a great job of playing this exasperated little brother who is suddenly having to take over the big brother role. he was annoyed but patient with dean, which i adored, and waited until afterwards to do the mocking thing. i thoroughly enjoyed Sam as a YED, but i kind of wanted MORE of it, you know? more hallucinations of YED!Sam being all evil and torturing dean. though i VERY much approved of using the girl from No Rest For the Wicked. Great bit of continuity there. And as we all know, little girls are SO FREAKY!
the scene in the morgue was GENIUS. i know they've seen a lot, but it was awesome to know they can still get a bit queasy. (IN SAM's FACE!!! AHAHAHAHAHA)
i think my favorite scene was at the end where they were leaning on the car. its a gorgeous shot, we see Dean being paranoid all on his own (seriously i wish they would TALK TO EACH OTHER), and we see the boys being UTTER HOTASS. seriously, did you SEE them?? *fans self* i mean DAMN.
so yes, HI SHOW I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER AND IS IT NEXT WEEK YET???
