So Wincon was AMAZING. I am currently sitting on Mona's couch, adding a couple of new friends from this weekend and just absorbing how much fun it was.
There was a definite low key feeling to the Con this year, it was smaller and more intimate, and I just had SUCH a great time.
It's always so great to be at the con, there's an atmosphere there that's unlike anything else. We said it a bunch of times this weekend but it really is just like a GINORMOUS sleepover. Girls in pjs and getting drunk and so much squeeage you can't stand it (only i really can).
As always, seeing poisontaster & mona1347 and rooming with them was a BLAST. They are my girls and I love them to death, no joke. *TACKLEHUGS* I never want to leave when I'm with them.
FANGIRL COMMUNE, no joke. it needs to happen.
I got to see exsequar for the first time in two years and it ROCKED like a rocking thing! WWEEEE ANNNE! And of course hanging out with meredevachon and black_regalia and wendy and beanside and nilchance was awesomesauce.
AND OMG SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE. *spazzz* If I didnt mention you it's because I fail and am totes falling asleep as I write.
Jen (coiledsoul) and Kassie (ethrosdemon) did such an exceptional job organizing and dealing with the drama and they deserve major props. Also thanks to tjournal and brynwulf and beanside and nilchance and missyjack and tenaciousmetoo, all of whom rocked out the helping thing (and also a big thanks to anyone who was part of the organizing group and I forgot!! sorry i fail like that sometimes).
Anywayz, I loved Wincon like whoa, and omg is next year here yet? I'd like to go to Denver!
there will inevitably be more about wincon in later posts, but my eyes are totally drooping right now. urrgh.
