Though I started out in slash, crossed the (brotherly) incest line as far back as Simon and Simon, and, though I held out on the mpreg for a LONG time, it, tottered a bit with BtVS and fell dead with SGA and SPN. Sigh. I still don't like BDSM and father/son incest, though. Mostly. Doesn't that count for something?

Yes, yes it does. I don't like BDSM either, and rape/noncon will never ever EVER be one of the lines I cross. I just don't like it. period.

Oh yes! I totally agree about rape/noncon, *especially* partner rape/noncon. I run like a fast running thing from almost all evil!Sam or evil!Dean stories. For a great author I can skim/skip to the recovery part, but even that has to be for an author or rec I totally trust. And I can't stand to see my boys totally broken; there had better be at least a hint of hope for them in the end.

Oh, oh, and death stories! Warn me, damn it! I almost never want to read these for any reason by any author, and nothing pisses me off more than to have one sneak up on me without my expecting it. Sure way for a writer to get an old Italian curse laid on her miserable ass.

But, um, otherwise I'm good lines-to-cross-wise. There are genres that aren't really my thing, like most crossovers, femslash, het, and /OMC or /OFC, but I'm cool with them and can be swayed by a good rec.

If I find a good crossover, I LOVE it and rant about it all the time. I don’t really do femmeslash, het, or genderswitch. Its not so much a line as….. uninteresting, ya know?
