Alright so one day after school, me and mick had nothing to do since micks drum set was inconveniently(at least for The Sexing)at jasons house. so since we could not practice for the band we had already formed we decided to make another band, were mick was to play drum machine, and me my keyboard, we decided to call it senora robotnik, since band names dont matter what so ever. We practiced for the first day like this, but later changed it up when mick noticed that he almost had his entire old drum set there, so after some experimenting with some different set ups we decided that mick were to play a floor tom, a china crash, and a bell cymbal with nothing else and sing as well, I was to still play my keyboard. We also decided to change the name along with the change of the set up, and since the fact of band names still dont matter even if we did change the setup, mick wanted to call it "A Cut To The Face..W/ Jets", and me being the simple guy I am, I agreed since the odd name fits the odd setup and lyrics. Me and mick both didnt really think we were gonna go on with this band at all, it was just something to do since The Sexing could not practice because of micks instrament being located at jasons house. But one fine afternoon after a great day at school, Jacque called mick about a show that she was possibly trying to get booked on november 10th at the gate with these two bands, MikaMiko, and Wives, since both of the bands are from LA, and are going on tour. She needed more bands to play with them so she was wondering if one of mick's many bands would like to play at this show, we both agreed that The Sexing had not practiced in a while so we decided to have "A Cut To The Face....w/ Jets" play because for a band being together for only a week before this phone call we sounded a lot better than most of the bands in town, and probably a lot of other bands in other places as well. After agreeing to play at this show Jacque told us she wasnt for sure if this was going to even happen or not so she asked us to keep it on the Down Low, considering the fact that everyone knows how me and mick roll...we did. Jacque soon after that started to email the gate with the question of if they would book this show or not. After pain staking years of no reply she decided to go ahead and have it at Gigantic, and also settled to have the very good local band The Hips play as well....so you may be thinking "He actually told this whole story just to tell people to go to this show".......You bet your sweet ass I did, so you can just back the fuck up.
