(no subject)
Well thanks to my favorite JB, I've decided to get back into the habit of writing in this thing so that those of you who actually read this can know whats going on in my life...so here goes:
Im back at school now for the spring semester, and its already looking pretty crazy!! My classes all look interesting, and I think I'm actually looking forward to my practicum despite the fact that I have to leave campus at 7:45 AM to get there!!!!! ( 7:45... ah the meanings behind that.. hehe) I am in my last semester of Civ which is a wonderful thing!! Looking at the schedule for the semester it looks like some of the lectures have the potential of being really interesting (Narnia and Middle Earth :) ) but on a whole I will be glad to finish that class in the spring!! Methods for Teaching Reading will be interesting and hopefully I will be able to continue my work with second grade literacy in practicum. Classroom Management is taught by the cutest pair of teachers ever!! They are both elementary teachers fulltime, so we are probably going to hear a lot about their classes, and they have a lot of examples to offer the class! In taking on my Theatre Minor, I am taking Theatrical Design this semester which should be a fun class. As a final project I have to create a design portfolio with Costumes and Scenic design for THE SECRET GARDEN which should be a lot of fun. This week we are starting off our design projects in a different fashion by becoming stylists for current celebrities... (our group is dealing with the newly single Jessica Simpson) I love classes that require me to play paperdolls!! lol
On top of all of my classes, I am still working in both the tutoring center and the Production Office, taking on the role of Box Office Manager as Sara is studying abroad this semester!! I am also going to continue tutoring my second grader in literacy simply because she is adorable :) As this is starting to get lengthy, I think I will stop here and pick up again in a future entry... I hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to hearing from those of you who read this, leave me comments to let me know what you've been up to!!!!
