Well, studying for exams is in full swing. I've been downloading and printing book reviews as part of my studying for exams, to flesh out skimming books, and today I killed a ream and a half of paper and five print cartridges. And I'm only on page six of my book list. I still need to run to the library in order to photocopy reviews and articles next week as well. This is just gonna be so much fun I can't stand it.
Turns out the job offer from LHF never panned out for the rest of the summer, as they haven't gotten back to me. Oh well, I have better things to occupy my mind right now. I am going to the Mid-Iowa Antique Power expo this weekend. I know that the rest of you savages don't like 'em as much as I do, but there's something about watching old iron and steam doing their jobs again, chugging to life and bringing back a bit of the past for an afternoon. The highlight for me, besides the horses, will be steam plowing, which I've never seen done.
