[So you know how he'd asked you to come by in a few days? Well when you draw closer you might be able to notice the smell of... cake? being baked in the air.]

Do I smell cake?

[Soooort of. Other than the fine sheen of flour over everywhere you might notice a bunch of largish boxes stacked on one side of the counter, and one more opened on the table. In it there were a bunch of cupcakes decorated in various holiday decorations, with are larger set-up around it looking like a wreath. There's also some undecorated cupcakes sitting out to cool on top of the stove.

By the way. You just sticking your head in like that? Touya had his head in a low cabinet, busy getting something from inside and bangs his head on the top of it in surprise.]

[Ohoho, looks like someone's not that used to bakin- ouch that looks like it hurt. Walking over to check on you]
Shit, sorry 'bout that. You okay?

[Hey, at least the finished cupcakes looked okay. But that decorating? Flawless. You can probably tell what his job was during the holidays.

He rubs his head before looking up at you with a sheepish smile.]

I'm fine, just didn't expect you so early.

[He reaches back into the cabinet and pulls out another cupcake tin with a small sound of triumph.]

[smile. And then eyebrow]
Just how many of those are you making?

[quietblack]

[He looks around in confusion for a moment. Had he made too many?]

...Oh.

[stalkerwithacap]

[chuckle] Making them for someone in particular or are you just gonna binge on them until christmas? [that's... probably enough to binge on until the new year, if not more]

[quietblack]

Made them for... the people I've met. Which... isn't many. So... thought I'd make some for your friends too. Guess I kinda... went overboard.

[stalkerwithacap]

[laugh] Well, guess you're gonna make a lot of people happy.

[quietblack]

[He gives a small smile as he busies himself setting up the tin to use up the last of the batter.]

They're just cupcakes...

Cake is always good, man~
... can I taste one?

[quietblack]

[He nods and waves at the set-up on the table. It's not completely finished, but he had enough left to fill in the gaps. After he sets the last batch in the oven he brings the tin that was cooling over to the table and starts decorating them carefully.]

[he grabs one of the candy cane ones and starts biting into it. Then he grins]

[He smiles and hums a small thanks, focusing more on getting the patterns just right.]

[watching you decorate] Hey you're pretty good at those.

[quietblack]

Mmhmm, my job during the holidays. Got really good at it over the years.

[He puts the finishing touches on the last one of this batch, placing it in the box. There's room for a couple more in there.]
