First off, thank you! And happy End-of-Year Festival of Your Choice. I hope you enjoy it.
This feels rather like a blind date, and, like a blind date, my main concern is that I convey what should be said without making a complete fool of myself. Then again, the last time I was on a blind date I ended up making what I thought were witty remarks about bacteria cultures, so my track record in this arena is not very good.
So, my number-one favourite thing of all time to read fic about is social issues. This could be Chapman-centric genfic dealing with coming out to Cleese and Co., or it could be Mandelbellian banter, or it could be Lewis fic dealing with the fallout from 'The Dead of Winter' and 'Life Born of Fire'- maybe something exploring the way Hathaway presents himself to the world versus what he actually is. If you choose to write for 221B Baker Towers, anything in that universe would be awesome- I'm not picky on pairing or kink, although I'm not a huge fan of intense BDSM (sounding, etc., though flogging or whatnot is fine). I prefer queer gen over slash, and slash or femmeslash over het, but I will and do read anything. Above all, have fun. I'm really not very hard to please, so do something that would make you happy.
