Lalalalala, I'm bored, and ignoring the fact that I must study...
All my songs in voice are loverly. He's giving me more abstract stuff now, which I like, because abstract stuff rules. Recital on June 21st. Which means I'll miss my soccer game that day, but to sing? That's okay. ^_^ Here's one of my favourite abstracers I'm singing right now:
The Silver Swan
The silver swan,
Who living; had no note,
When death approached,
Unlocked her silent throat.
Leaning her breast
Against the reedy shore,
Thus sang her first and last,
And sang no more.
"Farewell all joys,
O death, come close mine eyes.
More Geese than Swans now live
more fools than wise."
Yeah....fun stuff.
This morning I was supposed to give a letter from my mom to the principal, regarding the fact that the junior high kids only get 1 option next year instead of two. However, it was nowhere to be found. I know it was in my locker, I know exactly where it was, but it wasn't there this morning. So now I must search around the files on the computer and see if I can find a typed-up version to print off, envelope, and pretend nothing happened. Because I don't want to tell her and have her get pissed off and give me a lecture on keeping things organized or being forgetful. Geh....
Stupid throat. There is in fact a cold coming on. I am sneezing a little. I never get coughs, just sneezy things.
