"Uncle Eddie died__one of the good guys."
~My Father
"Charlie organized a small group of us and got us started playing racquetball the last few years. When he hit the occasional winner, Charlie never missed an opportunity to make sure you knew it - I suspect that’s what he enjoyed most about playing. And when he’d hit you with a ball, you knew it - and sometimes you weren’t quite sure it wasn’t on purpose - just so you’d know he was there.
This past summer one of his other good friends got him to begin playing some golf - I think Charlie had one of the worst swings I’ve ever seen - but listen to Charlie and he’d tell you that ‘he’d almost got it figured out.’ I wish he’d had more time to work on it - I’ll miss him.”
