OK well, whether I'm supposed to say or not and as the "poet" of this page states that he has an opinion..I have one as well. I didn't know the passing of 1,000 kills untill my husband told me. He was a tad pissed. When he was over there, Their policy was to shoot back at anyone who shot at them. It is my understanding that now the military has to ask permission to shoot back. So, when he was over there the armed forces were keeping the kills down. Between them comming home and the poor soilders relieved them AND the Iraqi gov't being put into place the kills were 500+. Not that the boys that were doing the relieving are doing a bad job. It may be that their job was made a little bit harder than trying to cool down hell already was.
