Just an update...
Sitting here at Theio's waiting for Jimmy to get here from getting clean for job hunting. I talked with my Dad for awhile (he was in town due to a court thing, someone at Friend of the Court took one of his back child support checks and found a way to get the money), which was nice.
So now I'm sitting here just relaxing. This may be the first time I've actually accomplished complete relaxation in about a month. I'm letting the concerns of life just sorta flow through without giving them much time. It's pretty nice.
In case anyone didn't know, I and my room mates have to move from our apartment due to some BS with DTN, and they want us to continue to pay rent until they re-rent the property or our lease is over. I'm looking into it with lawyers and we'll see if we can "stick it to the man". Looks like Emily and I will be camping in Skippy's basement for a couple months until Wren gets our of her lease and then we'll become room mates. This means I won't have to be the "Dad" of the house. Which is nice.
I'll be getting a job instead of more classes this summer. My objective is to at least make enough money to cover the rent at DTN, so that we aren't completely screwed. Hopefully everything works out on that end. I've applied at like 7 or 8 places. Today I'll be setting up appointments for the temp agencies and going to the crappy telemarketing places because they'll hire anyone. It kinda blows I can't take classes, as I really do enjoy going to school and I kind of freak out about me losing my drive for school if I'm not always in classes.
I'm listening to the Rent Soundtrack right now and it's really helping the relaxation. Everything is rent indeed.
I'm hoping my father will be able to stay in town long enough to have dinner with him after Emily gets out of work.
Oh, and as a note, in two weeks the Federal Marriage Ammendment will be going to a vote. Please call your congress people to voice your feelings.
