MY QUICK REVIEW OF 300
It was visually stunning. I loved the style, it literally brought the graphic novel to life.
It lived up to my expectations. I definitely think it's a strong piece of work. It has a lot going for it and deals with a cool story (It's not all blood and war). Some great one liners and as I thought, amazing camera work. From a technical side they used some great techniques. Most of the film was shot between 50 and 150 frames per second. This is really high speed considering regular speed is 24 fps. This is why they could play with slow motion for some of those really intense fighting scene's and keep a crisp image. I don't know, I thought it was really enjoyable.
