The smell of blood and death hangs heavily in the air. You step carefully into the apartment, no signs of life around. Why should there be? You saw what happened while in the van.
Trevor's lifeless eyes stare at you, but it feel like they're boring into you. Pools of blood stain the area around him. It's an easy decision. Your hand's raised and soon, all that's left of Trevor's body are ashes. Maybe this will ease the guilt...getting rid of evidence.
As you turn to leave the apartment, a strangled whisper falls from your lips.
"I'm sorry, Gabriel."
