Like a Fine PEZ
A long time ago - I'm not sure how long ago, except that it was in the '90s - I bought a very plain PEZ dispenser, blue with a featureless little rectangular blue "head." It came with peppermint PEZ.
"Sure," I said, "Why not?"
Well, how about because those peppermint PEZ were kind of gross?
This weekend, sosoclever cleaned up one of the kitchen cabinets a bit, including hauling out a plastic container full of assorted candy. I don't believe this container had been opened since before we moved here. In it were four sleeves of peppermint PEZ, so old they still had printed outer sleeves over shiny inner sleeves.
I guess peppermint PEZ improve with age, 'cause now there are two.
