rosie vs. the donald
I am so annoyed at what's going on in the media right now in between Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell right now. For those who don't know the story, I'll give you a brief summary.
Donald owns the Miss USA pageant. Owns it. Which menas that he basically gets to decide everything that goes along with it. Our current, beloved Miss USA was found going crazy in bars, drinking underage, and failed a cocaine test. Certainly not what a Miss USA is supposed to be. Instead of reprimanding her and sending out the right message to America's youth, "The Donald" allowed her to keep her crown, just as long as she goes to some rehab.
After this news was released, Rosie talked about his decision on her talk show, "The View". She rightfully (in my opinion) disagreed with his choice. Next thing you know, you see Trump all over the media talking about what a fat, ugly, no-talent, loser Rosie is. Which is obviously complete bullshit. I'm sorry Donald Trump, but this whole world isn't going to bow down to your chauvinist, combed over ass. For you to attack Rosie O'Donnell, model citizen, philanthropist, and mother of 2 (or 3), based on such shallow ideals is so completely immature. And I'm not taking Rosie's side because she's a lesbian, or because I've always hated Donald, it's just for the sheer facts. "The View" was created so that 4 women, or a man from time to time, can sit down and talk about their VIEWS on certain important issues in our media and our society. In Rosie's VIEW Miss USA should have been stripped of her crown instantly. And I agree with that. I'm behing Rosie 192%.
