Out of the 3 exams I took last Wednesday, I got 2 of the grades back. They're a 100 and a 94. Look how smart I am! I finally figured out how to study, after all these years, haha. I'm used to kind of coasting through the material and absorbing whatever I can, and praying that what I know is on the test. I decided this time around to be super thorough and obsessive, and I guess it all paid off. I've also been trying to be nicer to people, and not be so independent, because I think it pushes people away. I'm so used to just getting up and doing what I want, not worrying if someone's going to come with me. I want to change that, because company's fun.

Home this weekend was pretty good. I went apple picking! Pictures will be posted on facebook as soon as my sister uploads them from her camera. Yippee! I also got to watch 3 movies, two REALLY good, one not so good. The first, Marie Antoinette, was mediocre. A very simple, slow-moving story line. I think the point of the film was just to show the fabulosity (or fabulous-ness) of Marie and all the shit she had. I must say, however, that her taste in clothing, pastries, and gardens was phenomenal. The next movie was "Walk the Line", you know, the story of Johnny Cash and his drug addiction. This was an awesome movie. The acting by Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon was outstanding and so believable. A plus was that Joaquin is gorgeous. And the last movie that I had the pleasure of seeing was "The Shawshank Redemption", a true classic. If you haven't seen it yet, go and see it. It's like mandatory and a staple of American cinema culture. Yeah it's long, but it certainly doesn't feel like it, and if it does, then I guarantee it was worth it.

Hmmm what else did I get to do this weekend? I saw Shivani BRIEFLY, but it was meaningful nonetheless. We said what we had to, and cleared our minds all in a matter of thirty minutes. She was celebrating Diwali back home so our timing was impeccable. I also got to see Tiffani, which was crazy to say the very least. And she forgot to give me my damned brownies! I did not forget about those, missy!

Not really too much work this week, luckily. I need to take some sun, because Lord knows I'm looking a little too pastey for anyone's good. Well, actually not really, but pale by my standards! Oh, and does anyone want to get SUPER WASTED and go to Coli this weekend!? I haven't been in like two months, and I think a Coli night is definitely in order. Wow, I can't believe I just said that.
