*sigh* I have been dancing so much that sometimes I wonder what keeps me at it...I think this is one of the only ways to explain it through words...
To dance is to deel the breath of life flowing through she soul and creating harmony with the music. Once the torment and ecstacy come together dance -magic- is created on stage or in the studio. What quality inspires the dancer, what passion impels the young dancer to create? How magnificent is this creativity when given the chance to flourish, when the talented dancer is allowed to grow as an artist. Oh, the glory of ballet! What is it about ballet that sets it apart from all other forms of movement? Is it the music, costumes, the line and fluidity of the dancers, or is it the purity and elegance of the art its self? It is all of these and something more.
