Weekend is over

I have a million things on my mind, but I don't really know what to say. A lot of it is the same stuff I've written before... I want school to be over, I want to find a job that doesn't suck, I'm tired of being single, bla bla bla. I'm not going to say those things right now.

Got my camera out tonight, found some pictures on there that I took several weeks ago. Completely forgot they were on there. I had transfered most of the pictures onto my laptop while I was out of town and when I returned, since most of the pics were on my computer already I didn't think to transfer the rest. Also looked over the wedding pics I took last month. I bet the bride and groom really want to see them, in fact I know they do since I talked to them last week. I have separated the bad and good pics, now it's just a matter of editing the really messed up "keepers." I can't wait to finish that task, as it will make my friends happy and get it off my mind, thus making me happy.

Speaking of my camera, I really want to get out and take some pictures. I have this Friday off of work since it's Veterans day. I'm thinkin about goin to the botanical gardens to see the buttery fly exhibit. If I do I'll bring the camera and get some pics and share them. I've been meaning to update my website to include some more of my recent pics. I kinda let it sit there for a year (there's a lot of pics to go through since the last update). Sometime soon I hope.

Today while at work I started thinkin about what I want to be doing after I graduate, get a job obviously. I've also been realizing that a bachelor's degree isn't enough. It's time to switch over to certification mode. I let my certs and skills get expired and rusty, it's time to recertify and get some more credentials. If I only had a couple more advanced certs right now, I could get a job starting next week makin $60-70K. Why I haven't been doing them thus far, I don't know. Well, I do know - it's called full time school, two jobs, and extra curricular activities (rock climbing, mountain biking, scuba diving, road trips, girls, bars, photography..the list goes on). I'm definitely ready to finish school and trade my current jobs for a single more lucrative and enjoyable one. So, in order to obtain such a job, I'm going to start working toward getting certified. My goal is to take a test in the next few weeks. I have a couple tests in school coming up, which I'll need to study for, but for the most part I should be able to fit in an our or two of studying every day. 40-60 hours of studying should be sufficient to pass the first test. I'm also going to have to look into getting some equipment to practice my skills. Either way, I want to start passing some tests and build up some more certs, this is my current goal (in addition to graduating).

Nothing much else going on. Gonna get some sleep and hopefully not have an aweful day at work tomorrow.
