Thanks be to God...
...for Kentucky. I love it all: the hills, the trees, the country roads, the people, the accent, the food, sweet tea, everything. I just never realized how much I loved it until I lived somewhere else for a while.
...for Taylor University Fort Wayne. God led me to this school and provided the means for me to actually go there, and I am enjoying myself thoroughly. There are so many new opportunities and experiences I am being exposed to at Taylor. College is so much better than I ever imagined.
...for my new friends at college. They are wonderful, and God has blessed me so much by putting them in my life. God has graciously given these new friendships to me with abundance of quality and quantity. They are the best part of this new era.
...for old friends. I love you all, and I feel so blessed that we have shared in one another's lives, and I pray that we will continue to do so. Especially for the few who have been with me through it all, who still stand by my side even when we ourselves find conflicts with each other. Even though I now live miles away, I promise I will always be there for you.
...for my family. I cannot even begin to express how much they mean to me.
...for Red House. Not until I found myself searching for a church for the first time did I realize that I would be living absent from both my homes and both my families on Red House Road.
...for God's amazing grace and mercy, without which I would not be where I am today.
...for the fact that God is for us and with us, and therefore no one can be against us.
...for God granting me the greatest desire of my heart: to live for Him and with Him.
Amen.
Happy Thanksgiving.
