Struggling between the facts and fiction

My friends, we are running out of time.  Or rather, it is running out on us.

Pittsburgh is a really cool city.  You come out of the tunnel, and BOOM- there it is!  It's rather impressive.  It looks bigger than what I remember of Philly, but it's definitely not (population wise, according to AAA).  I wish there had been more sunshine.  Anyway, my Aunt Kay is doing much better and it was good to visit with her and my Uncle Chuck.  We went to the Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, and they had all these cool glass sculptures everywhere throughout the gardens.  It was pretty awesome.
Oh yeah, we went to this grocery store that was so huge it had a parking garage with an elevator, a whole section just for cheese, and aisles for the food of different ethnicities.  I felt like a small town, Kentucky girl, alright.

Sigh.  What things I would like to say to each and every one of you.

"Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that Our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased."
-C.S. Lewis, the Weight of Glory
