driver picks the music

This post is such an obligatory Supernatural post. I'm not even kidding. I have a few excuses to go along with it though: 1. Perfect excuse to picspam pictures 2. Perfect excuse to share music from the show with you all 3. Perfect to excuse to, once again, ramble on about the show 4. Ummm, I don't have another excuse ( Read more... )

If there is one thing I love SPN for, it is for introducing me to classic rock. Honestly, what have I been listening to all this time?

Thank you so much for the post and the songs. You've made my week!

P.S: I rather think you missed one fan favourite moment though? What about "Back in Black" from Bloodlust when the Metallicar came back? And personally, I love "Carry On My Wayward Son" and "Wheel in the Sky" by Journey to pieces. Can you please upload them if you have them?

Thanks again,
Hasini.

*here via arielchan's rec, btw*

For me personally, most of my family listens to classic rock, so I was pretty much born into it. LOL

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

As for Black In Black: I love the Impala, love Dean/Impala, and love that he was able to put the car back together, but I actually liked when the song played in the Pilot. Because it gave us the "driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole" line. lol

And I also picked these moments because they really stuck AND stayed with me. And, while I love each of the songs used for the recaps, I wanted songs that were really featured in the episodes, but I definitely agree with you- love those songs to pieces.

Thank you soo much for the songs! I loove "Wheel in the Sky". For me it embodies the soul of SPN. *squishes you*

Shall I push my luck and ask whether you have Silent Lucidity as well? Because that song makes me cry everytime.

To tell the truth, I'm more of a New Age and Classical music kinda gal, but I love rock music too, and classic rock has a heart to it that's missing from most other forms of the genre.

Just friended you, btw. What Humphrey Bogart said! ;-D
