My own personal question of the day

Nov 18, 2009 08:52

So, humor me with an answer to my personal question of the day.

How do you know you're getting old(er)?

What are the things you started taking note of that made you think, "damn it, I'm not as young as I used to be."

Some of mine:
--Makeup no longer does an adequate job of covering up last night's sins of commission
--You quit giving a damn & stop committing sins of omission
--The most intimate relationship you have is with something that needs alternating current (I'm talking electric blankets here, people!)
--You can say that your closest group of friends hasn't changed by more than a few people in >10 years
--You've been in a dressing room and thought, "I could've carried this off five years ago but not now"
--"Skin-tight" only applies to underwear in your wardrobe

So, how about it?
