"Thank you." He paused again, trying to think of the best way to ask his suggestion. "I thought maybe we could do to Hogsmeade next weekend. You know...together. As friends. And before you say anything, I'm not asking for a date. It's not like every other weekend we've had for the last five years, I just want to buy you a butterbeer as a friend...." He'll continue to ramble like this until Lily says something. Nervous James is quite a sight to see. He was very glad everyone else was in their houses.

Before she knew it, they had reached the corridor with the Fat Lady's painting. Violet had made it there first, going by the curious look on the Fat Lady's face when they got closer. Or was it amusement? Maybe both?
