so yesterday was outbound orientation. It sotra snuck up on me to be honest. See for me, this whole exchange thing has been something ive been wanting to do since 5th grade, so the fact that i was finally attending outbound orientaion was almost as big as leaving itself. os i was kinda like woooOOOOoooOOOO lol.
so anyway. It was really great. i mean, to be honest, i knew most of it already. packing (plz, HOW many times have i packed for going abroad?) Rules of th road (you live through 3 exchagne students and hear about all the 'problem ones' and see if YOU don't learn the rules of the road) etc. etc.
New things i learned:
>which girls were going where
>how to manipulate people (hee hee)
>i really REALLY should keep a journal...
>Don't say "mushi"
>Rotary counsil only serves one year
>the whole point of the club banners
>I have an extreme desire to fill my jacket up until i can no longer see the blue anymore, much like my wall.
so yeah. it was good, and exciting. and stuff. that took up my ENTIRE day..litterally. so i came home and my dad and brother were watching "Hero" which, by the way, is an incredibly confusing move to come in midway at...so i fell asleep on the couch.
Dad woke me up when the movie was done, and the entire orientaion ruched back on me when i was all drowsy and all of a sudden i thought: "what the HELL are you doing?! are you FRICKEN CRAZY?"
then i woke up this morning and was back to my "ohmygodi'mgoingtogermany" self. lol.
and then i woke up, went to church and directly to work...
so in the end i had no weekend.
and im twice as excited to walk into my frist Apoteke for cripes sake. (an Apoteke is an "Apothacary" aka, drug store. lol.)
so that tells you how sad my desperation is at this point.
goodnight, ill see you all tomorrow.
