there once was a small civilization that lived high up in the mountains of switzerland. they were a cruel and coniving people and spent their time luring cow shepards deep into the hills with their voices. now their voices werent understood by humans but rather sounded like cow bells to you and i; it is by this they were able to steal cows and men into their tree homes deep beneath the roots and into the mountains to use as slaves.
in a small valley lay a little cottage where a boy named andy lived with his little herd of cows, but andy's cows were special cows, they were all the colors you can think of, more colors than you can count on all your fingers and toes! some were gold like the sun, some blue like the ocean, some red like roses, some green like the hillsides, some the color of fresh snow, some were a mix of colors like a sunset even! andy loved all his cows very much, but there was a special place in his heart for lilly. shes was a sweet little calf who's fur was so silky that it was like running your hand under warm water. the really special thing about lilly was that her hair was like the night sky, swirls of blue, black, and purple with tiny sparkling stars all over it. lilly was given to him by his beautiful wife, moon.
moon was a small girl who fell from the sky one day with lilly into andys field. moon built a tiny sparkling cottage near andys and they soon got married. now andy had warned moon about the tree people in the mountains many times just like his mom and dad had warned him, but it was all he could do to keep her away from the mountians. moon loved to climb the rocks in the valley so she could be closer to her home in the sky and longed to venture into the mountains but andy said no, because he was afraid of the tree people. instead, moon and andy lived happily in their little valley sitting high up on the rocks singing to their cows. moon loved to sing, especially at night. she had the most beautiful voice in all the land....
