Howl's Moving Castle
So. darreldoomvomit and I watched Howl's Moving Castle.
Random lines and actions that had me looking for a pillow to brain myself with:
Scarecrow: Yes, it is I, the foreign prince that has been missing this whole time, even though nothing was really mentioned about it. And oh, by he way, I am in Love with Sophie!
Soohie: *is currently kissing the disturbingly hot BirdBoy Howl.
Also, earlier in the movie.
Howl: (to Sophie) Don't be alarmed, but I'm being followed. Try to act natural.
And then they fly over a town. Like, right over. People can totally see and everything.
Sophie: (having just gone through a portal/door and seeing a young boy) Ah! I get it! This is the past, and that is Young!Howl! It's jsut so obvious!
And then, there is Sophie's Magical Kissing Abilities.
Howl is about to die? A Magical Kiss from Sophie! Calcifer is a firework-y non-fire being thing? A Kiss from Sophie! The scarecrow snapped his pole? (Do I actually have to say something here?) Sophie's Magical Kissing Powers to the rescue!
Other than the occasional "WTF?" and the whole wanting to brain myself with a pillow thing, I really did enjoy the movie. If only for Calcifer, the fire demon with the snark sparks. 'Cause he's a fire demon.
Also, Howl with bird feathers is disturbingly hot, and therefore once I find a good picture I am going to spam you with it, so that others may enjoy the hotness.
