(no subject)
so im going to procrastinate a little bit and post about the last 24 or so hours...
yesterday i had the usual day of classes (including my usual lunch with Jenny at the bubble), during which time i checked my mail and found that i had received both of the packages i was expecting. i got a book that i ordered on Jan. 14th and Dan's wonderful christmas present (http://victimonline.com/putdown_jesus.html) i must say i was happy to receive it because when they send you a t-shirt, they send you a little 2.5X2.5 sticker of the image on the tee...so cool. I went and dropped the tee off in his room amidst tons of giggles, then i escaped work and came home to get ready for my 'date' with dan. we got all dressed up (KATIE...thanks for the skirt...ill return it as soon as i see you) and went to the Orpheum Theater to see Lackawanna Blues, a story about a really cool woman and the crazy people she helps. We had a glass of wine and relaxed for the duration of the film. Afterwards, we trekked back to the streetcar for the short ride to the St. Charles Tavern where I had a big fat steak and dan had a yummy Philly Cheesesteak sammich. We chilled out some more and decided that we must 'keep' the tavern (all who know me know that i 'keep' things i like...forever). We then caught the streetcar back and had some good conversation. I then fell into bed after talking to Nick online for about an hour. (Thanks for the pics, by the way.). This morning I woke up to the sound of the phone ringing. I picked it up and my wonderful boyfriend was on the other line. I've been smiling all day because he is so sweet and wonderful. *sigh*.
and today i cleaned, pickedup a recommendation, and sat on my arse. now i'm waiting on the vacuum to be returned to the desk and then i'll sit myself down to read Howards End. That is, of course, after I have me some lunch with Dan when he gets off work. ahh...the joy of being productive....sorta
now if i can just get my desk cleaned off an all the OTHER homework done!! aaah...
