I read the first book by Charlene Harris.
So all my questions are answered. I feel like I shouldn't have read it before the show ran, though, because now I know what's going to happen in the next episode...
Shoot me if you like, but I'm actually enjoying the show more than the books. I like that Bill can't levitate. And that Jason isn't just a background character. And Tara, for cryin' out loud.
I dunno. I always have a hard time liking books that are written in first person. Because it's so limited and can end up feeling...well...chopped up and awkward. Characters tend to end up two-dimensional when that happens-not to mention the main character ends up feeling very Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu-ish. I mean, of course I'll read the rest of Harris' books, but...
Meh.
Just like Twilight. The movie will probably be less irritating than the book was. I'm giving it a chance.
