Wow, have I been awful about updating, or what?
As a sort of apology, I just posted the next three chapters to "Yes, Virginia..." here and on Fanfiction.net. The rating has changed significantly due to chapter 20, so it is now part of that "M" rated section on FF.net.
Since I posted THREE AT ONE TIME, I cannot guarantee that I will respond to your comments as much as I usually do. Plus, I'm on "summer break" right now (yeah, that ends week after next, I think-I hate the quarter system that we use at the Art Institute) and I'm busy doing stuff outside. Because I am a pale little woman who desperately needs some color. And not just on the arm I hang out of the car window while I'm driving.
In other news, I went and saw Get Smart today and was EXTREMELY pleased with it. At the end of the credits they dedicated the film to Don Adams, and I really think they did an excellent job. Everything I remember from the TV series had a nod in it-from the shoe phone to Agent 13 (the guy who was always hidden in impossible places-like a mailbox, grandfather clock, or tree in the movie's case). Nothing felt like a "wink" to the audience and at the end I actually found myself clapping.
I usually never clap at the end of movies. In fact, I hate it when people do that. But I did it this time and the first time I saw Iron Man.
