I would be Pepper for Halloween this year if it didn't look like I was going to an interview... Anyway, I absolutely love those shoes. They make me tall. XD Click to see them full sized Serious:

So I was going to be Pepper at Dragon*Con this year...but I think I'm just going to put that off and do it next year when my friend Linh is going to help me making the dress she wears at the event.
The only bad thing is...in my heels, I'm 6'5, ahahah. o_o
Wow. In the heels I'm wearing in the photo I'm only hiked up to about 5'5". I'm a short little woman. I used to have 5'3" on my driver's license, but I'm really only 5'1". That's the most idiotic thing I've lied about.
Is there a Con in the Northern VA/DC area? I've been dying to go to one if only to talk to the comic artists and peddle my name around for a job.
Hmm... I'll have to check that out. The folks will be in Texas around that time and I'll be here in Woodbridge all on my lonesome (well, with two dogs to take care of). I've driven to Baltimore before. Is there a link for it or something?
OMG, I can't believe I'm not the only one who lied about my height on my license. XD
Yep. I've gone dark red before, but the "Apricot" color looks much better. I used to have this dirty blonde hair (my natural color) that got me the "are you 15?" look all the time. For some reason I look older with red hair. It was my mom's idea, actually. She got tired of the blonde.
Believe me... After hearing: "oh, you'll appreciate that later" for the zillionth time in one day when I tell people I'm actually 22, I'm sick to death of looking like a teenager.
Did you do it yourself or go and get it done? It's so funny, my hair is really more of an auburn color- but I've been meaning to go lighter and I love how it looks on Gwyn. I have a really fair complexion like she does- some freckles too so I have been seriously considering making the leap, since most people classify my hair more on the red side than the brown side anyway.
Oh don't feel bad, everyone thinks I'm about 15 too and I'm 23. With me it's just having a baby face. I have learned to just always keep my ID handy.
The Bluetooth would definitely look good with it, too. If you could talk someone into dressing like Tony you'd look like Pepper without looking like you had an interview later- he can be like a prop, haha!
Thanks! I don't know how to say "I love my hair" without sounding narcissistic... But I do love my hair.
XD S'okay. The shoes are Michael Shannon. I must admit, after watching Gwyneth Paltrow sprint in those heels of hers I've really gotten hooked on high heel shopping. And not just the usual low heels I used to buy. Those giant things. I'm currently on the lookout for a pair just like the ones she wore at the factory. She's got some major talent to run in those things. I ran in the Michael Shannon pair and discovered I still need practice.
This is what I get after years of tromping around in sneakers and flip flops.
And I totally know what you mean. My Pepper cosplay was, seriously, the first time I've ever worn heels. The night of my Theatre banquet, I ended up getting ready an hour before I had to leave just so I could practice walking around - I looked like a toddler. (I bet it was funny for everyone who wasn't me. D:) But, yeah… Gwyneth makes me really want to go buy some five-inch heels. Hee. :) ♥

I do need one of those.
I dyed it myself. It's cheaper that way. It's this box.

Ooo, I should have worn my black dress for these... I'll do that again on Thursday when I've got my Art History final.
