I have been exposed to the city my whole life.currently i am living way deep in the bridgeport ghetto where gunshots wake you up at 2am and mexicans sell drugs on your front porch.P.T. barnum housing project is across the street(this is a place where if you dont belong in there, you'll get arrested on sight since the only people who go in there that dont live there are buying drugs)
you can obviously see that i am not a high income person, yet i live in fairfield county which is supposadly the richest part of the US,or at least one of them.gas is over 3$ a gallon.a pack of marlboro cigarretts almost 6 bucks!and rent is not what youd call cheap.I do not understand why the taxes are so high and why it is so expensive to live here.even with the new job i got,i'm still gonna be struggling.
I used to live on the other side of bridgeport(less dangerous, still ghetto)and it was even more expensive!I do not know how people live comfortably.I hear people complain that they have no money and they have 12,000 in their savings account and parents that help them every step of the way.I do not have this luxury and when i say poor i mean 10$ in my wallet because the cost of EVERYTHING is so high.
I do not buy drugs,I dont go out to bars,I dont drive an SUV or have kids and I dont get it....
