Trains
THIS IS THE JOB I HAVE WANTED FOR 20 YEARS!!
Look at thease trains!One is an old steam engine train and the other is our regular metro north train.Maybe I'll get there and someone will line up 20 of thease guys and say,"alright Chris,we're counting on you to fix 'em all by friday!"
My dad used to know a guy that worked for MTA.His name was Eddie and when I was 3 or 4 I started going down to the old trainyard in stamford.Eddie worked the nightshift and was in the radio/communications dept.he hung around all night in this realy cool old-tyme shop and played with radios and such.I used to walk around and look at everything and say,"this is what i want to do when i grow up!"
One time when we went to see Eddie,we were walking around on the trains parked there,looking in the seats for change or whatever.Eddie found a half drank bottle of club soda and took it with him!I was like,"dad,is he gonna drink that?" my dad shook his head saying,"I hope not,but I'm afraid he is"
