Hey, babies! How we doin'?
I know, I know, I've been MIA at LJ for ages now, but what with the climate on twitter getting so outrageously toxic and aggressive towards anyone who comes within 20 miles of a taboo ship or kink or, yanno, thought, I'm gonna try to be more participatory back here again in these, our last few months of SPN. Wild, that, huh? Hope you're all weathering the lock down. The world is such a chaotic place right now. Good time to make change and rethink who we are.
Anywho, to kick it all off, and HUGE thank you to the mods of spnspringfling for once again giving us a venue to create some true delights for each other! You really should pop over there and take in all the wonders. What else are you doing??
My darling monicawoe got my name in the draw and wrote an absolutely delicious fic for which I can't say more wonderful things! All You Have Is Your Fire (Of course I want to make art for it, but I already owe her art for something else, so one step at a time...)

And a few closing thoughts: we're all under a lot of stress right now. We may not like a ship or a character or another fan, but it's important (imho) for us to understand that we're not a hive mind, and fandom is a place of expression and creativity and fantasy. There are measures in place to avoid the subject matter that squicks us. Use them. If you can't approach someone respectfully, leave them in peace.
