Bruce, here's the paper on culture for your class: The teen years are a complex and confusing time for people, during any time period. It’s a time when we try to discover who we are while struggling and dealing with the transition from dependant childhood into independent adulthood. It is not a quick or painless transformation, and it is altered by many different forces. The biggest force in a teen’s life that effects who they become is society and culture.
Culture is the significant differences between people and also the shared experiences, things, and ideas of a group. Culture can exist at a small level, like a high school click, or larger, like community culture, country culture, racial culture, and even worldwide culture. Some culture transcends time, but it can also only exist as a small segment on a time line. Various cultures can make up a society, and various societies can make up a culture; the two of them go hand in hand. Culture is a measure of something’s importance, a collection of symbols, a style of living and a way of life.
Popular culture is a combination of trends, fads, media and news. It’s the dominating culture of a region. As technology evolves, so does pop culture. Today, we get much of our pop culture from the TV or the internet, and can also get it from movies, music, and video games. Pop culture also changes with current events and can be inspired by things in the past. With a globalized population where something can effect us from thousands of miles away, popular culture is always world wide and ever changing. It’s the newest thing, the freshest fashion and the latest craze.
What will historians of the future learn and infer from the relics left from the youth of today? They will learn that we, as a generation, are many things. We are constantly changing, very diverse, full of problems but full of promise. Our generation is on the front lines of world wide change, where the whole planet will soon be connected an organized. Conflicts between a few countries will have global effects. Diseases, ideas, opinions, religion, and life itself is spreading to every corner of the globe, and we are the ones that will gain and lose from it. Our generation, our culture of today will see the last of isolation and the start of an open world.
Culture is the mindset and the marks left from a group of people from a certain time. And with such a culturally volatile group like teenagers, culture is a massive thing. It defines us, connects us, separates us and individualizes us. We decide what culture is and culture decides who we are. All of our great achievements, horrible downfalls, our best work and our worst tragedies are symbiotic with culture. Our future, past, and present show and will show who we were, what we are, and what will come, based on our culture.

Here is the essay for Human Phys:

All of the systems of the body work together for our survival. Without a system, we would die. Two systems that work closely together and are very important for us to live are the skeletal and muscle systems.
The skeletal system, made of bones, and the muscular system, made of muscles, are two major factors in our life. Together, they work side by side to help us move: muscles generate movement and the bones allow for structure. Together, that structure is given movement, allowing for organisms to do what they can to eat, avoid danger, and other things needed for survival. Without bones, we would be a blob of flesh, and without bones we could not move.
By themselves the systems are vital as well. Bones contain marrow, which makes the vital red blood cells for the whole body, like the muscles, which need lots of oxygen to work right. The muscles also insulate and heat the body, keeping it warm.
The bones and muscles of the body, while not as vitally important as the heart or lungs, are still needed for survival, and can help make our lives even better. When we think of bones and muscles we think of athletic injuries or accidents. They can break and tear, but heal back again. A lot of people take the bone and muscle systems for granted, but really they are very important to our lives.

And the paragraph editorial for histroy:

During the Civil War, it was vitally important for Lincoln to insure the Union that he was in complete control over the situations. But when Philip Sheridan disobeyed orders while in service, it showed that Lincoln didn’t quite have control over his army and it made him look like he was not the right man to lead the country. When people go to elect a president, they are choosing a leader: How well can a man lead a country if he can’t keep one general under control? Sheridan could have been more disastrous to Lincoln’s campaign had his disobedience resulted in a large number of casualties, but instead, his choice to go against command resulted in Lee’s forced retreat of Petersburg. Lincoln could have had a bigger problem on his already full hands, but instead Sheridan’s choice was beneficial for the war effort, but dangerous for the political effort.
