nothing like a one-eyed hamster
it's been freakin' forever. quick type updates.
went to murphysboro on sunday. met bobby's family. they're good people. bobby was sick. stupid stuff happened. bobby and i are just gonna be friends for a while. when i think about it, that's really all we were anyway. i like the guy, but i really think we'd be better as friends until some things work themselves out.
found a place to rent...that isn't in the ghetto. cute little 2 bedroom house across the street from school. i'm going from an hour drive to a 5-minute walk. exciting times!
school is going good. i think a bunch of my high schoolers are a little upset because i want to be dresses/uniforms instead of having everyone find clothes for themselves. last year, when i said white top, black on bottom, i got white tops, but some were long sleeve, some short sleeve, some spaghetti straps. i REALLY want some uniformity in this group. they, apparently, don't. oh wait...who's the director again?
regular type music classes are good, too. today i had the primary grades (k-3) with karen (mrs. perry...the boss-lady.) she kinda sat back and let me teach. it was way cool. like, an unofficial observation that i wasn't all freaked out about. the only thing i could have done better was NOT forget the printed out lesson plans on the printer instead of doing everything from my brain. oh well.
um...moving to the new place this weekend. mom and dad are helping me haul stuff. open house/house-warming party soon to follow.
oh yeah...also had a "run in" with cathy again. no details here. just...stuff went down, but i'm leaving, so i really don't care. muah-ha-ha!
with that, i sleep now. after reading about more frogs...
