You Are A Poplar Tree

People tend to look up to you, and it's a bit lonely at the top.
Inside, you are not always self confident, but you show great courage.
Mature and organized, you are reliable in any situation.
You tend to have an artistic or philosophical outlook on life.
You are very choosy in love and take partnership seriously.
What's Your Celtic Horoscope?

i know i just did a bunch of quizzes yesterday, but I was really very curious as to what my Celtic Horoscope might be. I feel it's pretty acurate.

nothing really big to report, actually. um...State Fair opens tonight. It runs July 13-16, then again from the 20-23. It's a very family oriented, down-home, wholesome show...so if you're looking for cheeze-tastic humor and nothing more than kisses, come and see it. i'd say come see me in the pit, but we have to have the pit so low so the audience doesn't see the head of the bass (or the bass player) and I'm shoved deep in the corner, you probably wouldn't be able to see me anyway. ah, well...

i am in some girlish pain. and i don't mean, "oh, i broke a nail" girlish. I mean pain only girls experience. no amount of over-the-counter pain-killing drugs are helping, either. GAR this week can't go by fast enough.

um...what else? Bobby is such a sweet boy. God bless free nights and weekend minutes...we talk a LOT once i'm done with rehearsal every night. I've so far talked to 2 of his family members, and they both seem very nice, and said the same to me. Yay. Hopefully next week, he'll have the means of transportation to come up and visit me (he lives 45 minutes from Sparta...2 hours away from T-roy). Yeah...the whole driving situation isn't a pretty story, and slightly personal for him, so I'm leaving it out of my blog. anyway, i'm very excited to meet him. hopefully all will go well.

gyah...myspace is being ungodly slow today. that freakin' stinks. i've got stuff to post, darn it!

I got a call from Jenni yesterday reminding me that this saturday is the day to be poked and prodded for bridesmaid dresses. To make this work, I've got to get on the road no later than 7 AM, drive up to Hannibal and get fitted, hang out for her bridal shower for a little bit, but then head back, leaving no later than 3 PM, to get back to SIU-E for warm-ups for State Fair. Oy...lots of driving.

things to do tomorrow - get my oil changed and emissions tested. Actually, I think I could do that still today. In fact, I think I will. Off I go to be almost productive!
