My Web Skills, Let Me Show You Them
Dear Livejournalers everywhere,
My CMPT 350 project is going to be bitchin', and you will love it.
The general gist of it is that it will allow you to take a website, say for example http://your-username-here.livejournal.com, click on various portions of the page, and change the style of everything -- colours, borders, positioning, etc -- in any easy way. Essentially, it will generate the CSS for you. You'll be able to make custom LJ layouts without knowing anything about CSS or HTML!
Or at least that's the idea. In practice, this could be a hella lot of work, and we're probably only going to do a prototype with partial functionality (since it's due in a month). Also, we'll see how many issues we run into...

That's right. I clicked on my page, and entered random colours when prompted, and it FRICKING WORKED. It only took me a couple hours to get this part working, too. SWEET.
