It was far to early in the morning for the average person to think singing and skipping were acceptable, but today was a special occasion.

"Happy Birthday to Me! Happy Birthday to Me!..."

Luna made her way over to the Ravenclaw table, to eat her breakfast in high spirits.

Hermione dashed up to Luna, holding a little gift. "Happy Birthday Luna!"

"Hi, Hermione!" Luna smiled. "I said you didn't have to get me anything."

Naturally she accepted the gift anyway.

Within was the cutest pair of earrings Hermione had seen during her shopping.

"Oh wow!" Luna examined the earrings. "They're almost celtic."

Hermione nodded happily, "You like them then?"

"They're perfect." As she was surprisingly not wearing earrings, Luna put her gift on.

"How do they look?"

[mione_says]

"Brilliant," Hermione smiled broadly, clearly proud of her choice.

"I think they're my new favorite."

[mione_says]

"I'm so glad you like them," Hermione replied honestly.
